Just wondering.  How soon should a new mother in hospital pump if baby has NOT
gone to breast successfully?  Right now, we recommend a mom pump if 6 hours
has elapsed (maximum) with no success.  How about your facilities?  TIA.  Loni

outpatient.  He is addicted to bottle nipple and mom's milk is in short supply
due to so much supplementation in hospital, but then we KNEW that would
happen, didn't we?  A neonatologist from San Francisco called our
pediatricians and told him that they have NEVER had a baby with this
affliction successfully breastfeed, so he ordered a bottle.  One thing led to
another.  Ho...Hum...and the beat goes on and on and on.
