I have a question from a colleague:
a mother of a 6 mo old is newly dx with Chrohns Dz. and will be asked to
take Flagyl (Metronidazole) and pentaza long term. The gastroenterologist
told her to stop breastfeeding. She is more upset about stopping
breastfeeding than the Dx of Chrohns.
In the archives I found very little. Does anyone have any experience or any
research data? can anyone fax me a copy of Dr. Jack's article re
medications and breastfeeding?

"Breast milk, best for human babies".... Grandma said that
"The miracle is not to fly in the air, or to walk on the water but to walk
on the earth".... Chinese proverb (they didn't need proverbs about breast
feeding, they were smart enough to just do it.)
