Hi Janet,
You're right. It's a spoof. I scrolled down for the description and it
started by quoting Dr Bill Sears on infant needs, and then went on to make
clearly impossible claims about early walking, talking and reading of the
alleged "test" baby. Of course, there will be people who will be sucked into
this spoof and enter the competition to win a "lifetime supply".
Remember that consumers already get sucked into claims about the additives
in artificial infant "formula", such as the "gold" versions, thinking using
them is the way to develop their precious babies' brains. That is, products
with only a fraction of the prebiotics of human milk.
By the way, in Dr Bill Sears on this list? I wonder if he knows he is being
quoted in a context I am sure he'd not be happy about.

Subject: Bacon Formula!

I was doing some research into infant formulas and the way they are marketed
and was horrified when I came across this:

http://store.baconsalt.com/Bacon-Baby-Infant-Formula--WAITING-LIST-ONLY_p_84.html

I hope that this is a joke and no parent would actually try to purchase this
or worse still feed it to their baby.
The claims are so riduculous, that I hope no mother would believe them and
use it but, you never know and there is no warning that it is not to be fed
to infants, in fact it even states 'from birth to 12 months'.

I hope that it is all a big scam and they will never actually produce this
product..... but I wanted to highlight it just in case!
