I agree with Pam's comments about inflammatory/noninflammatory mastitis. I
am telling all my patients to start with ibuprofen (just check they are not
allergic to NSAIDs), and to start the antibiotic if no improvement in 24
hours.
I have a fantasy that one day there will be an international scientific
meeting on mastitis - with scientists, microbiolgists, vets, lactation
consultants, doctors. There are so many questions, and so few studies....
Now I am really starting to fantasize - what about a meeting at Bellagio?
(where they met about LAM) - on a lake in Italy.....
