According to Lawrence 4th ed. page 46 Montgomery glands contain
sebaceous glands and ducts as well as small lacteferious glands and ducts. I've
seen milk coming out of them more than once, but not swelling. I assume that it
might be a sort of overreaction to the vigorous stimulation. I'd suggest leaving
it without stimulus as far as possible, perhaps change latch so that the lips do
not cover that much of it and maybe a very local cool compress to calm the gland
down.
