Its not actually the Ameda tubing that makes the difference, it is the  
design of the collection kit, which has a diaphram between the  
collection kit and the tubing, so no moisture can get into the tubing.

I'm not sure of the logic of this, it seems to me that the fluid would  
just be pulled down the tubing into the motor if you keep the motor  
on.  I found the best method when I was using the symphony was to take  
the tubing outside and spin it around my head as fast as possible a  
couple of times a day.  All the moisture went out of it.  Also no  
matter how I sat, making sure I never allowed the milk to fill a  
bottle moisture still went into the tubes.
