Joanna:  I agree with the comment about the possible effects of the deep
suctioning on this baby.  I'll leave it to those with expertise in this
area to advise you on treatment.
I'm interested in more details on the HMO and its study of
cost-effectiveness of breastfeeding promotion.  Please e-mail me directly
with more details, as I am about to approach a couple of my local HMO's
