Jennifer, veins on the breast certainly can be very pronounced but they are
not varicose veins like on the legs or valvula.  I would definitely tell her
not to use Preparation H.  That is for burning and itching of hemorrhoids.  If
the vein is bothering her cool compresses may help.
I know I throw this out to this group often but I do respect Dr. Susan Love's
opinion when it comes to the breast.  If this mom were to go to her web site
www.susanlovemd.com and she can post her question on this site.
