Dear Friends,

Happy New Year! I am home without my Hale book, but would probably need
to ask for your accumulated wisdom anyway on this matter. The mother in
question is nursing very successfully a 9 month old healthy baby. She
has recently been diagnosed with OCD and needs to be on medication. As
a factor of her disease, she is needs to be very sure everything is OK
with the meds and breastfeeding. Her pediatrician called me to check on
the following:

Luvox over 300mg--Hale is pretty clear on this one, my question is
whether it is dose dependent and if the fact that it is a 9 month old
baby makes a difference one way or the other.

Prozac 100mg; Anafranil 200-300mg; Zoloft 100mg; Paxil 100mg

I do not know whether the Psychiatrist is checking out all possible
options, I hope so, because I cannot imagine being on all of the above
at once! But psych is not my specialty.

Thank you for your help on this. Dr. Hale? Dr. Newman? Has anyone else
dealt with this?
