The inclusion of postpartum hemoglobin retrieval was almost an
afterthought in the development of this research study and was based
on one of the investigators observations and strong belief that there
indeed was a relationship with maternal anemia and insufficient milk
supply.  Unfortunately,  we did not study other variables such as infant
suck,etc. due to the nature of the main project.
