Has anyone ever tried feeding prem babies amniotic fluid until such time as
the mother is producing sufficient colostrum/breastmilk? We hear about how
wonderful amniotic fluid is with all the nutrients and immune factors it
contains and that is what the infant is meant to be drinking at this age.
Now I realise that maternal blood is also providing heaps of nutients at
the same time ....

Love to hear from our NICU IBCLCs and neonatologists on just how wacky this
idea is ;-)
