Although I have not specifically heard of this before,
I was not at all surprised at the concept. Many baby
books discuss the potential reactions of older
siblings to the new baby. Often listed for toddlers
is the possibility that the child may "regress"
somewhat - she might resume thumb-sucking, a fading
attachment to a favorite item might be strengthened,
toilet-training may take a step backward, she may even
insist on a bottle if she used to use one. So, if an
older sib used to nurse, it would only seem natural
that this would fit into the list as well! :o)
