  Tell me what you know about the hospital here beginning the SOFT program. I heard about the training a couple of years ago and was thinking about offering to write a grant proposal to fund the training. I know it would make a HUGE difference in breastfeeding sucess in the hospital if used properly. We see so many mothers postpartum that have cracked nipples, engorgement, babies refusing to latch, etc. It is rare for me to go out to do a postpartum visit when breastfeeding is going well. Babies are usually in their car seats or bassinets when not being fed.
