Dear lactnetters, I had a pt . Whose infant has a Byzantine arced palate.
Needless to say the infant nurse only fair. it is hard to see if the seal is
adequate. The infant had blood sugar issues, related to not feeding after a
crc. and had an iv to bring up sugars. Infant too sleepy to nurse. Finger
feeds and cup feeds poorly. Bottle feeding is not great. Any hints on how to
help this mom nurse. she is pumping. Infant was a section for breech. thanks
for your thoughts. Germaine
