I want to thank everyone who responded to me. They were all very helpful and
I called the mother, giving her the information. She felt much better
getting this reassurance and plans to contact her plastic surgeon to let him
know also.
From what I have learned about homeopathic therapy that the amounts of active
ingredients are so tiny, they would not have a negative effect on the
breastfeeding child. The problem is still there when the consumer is given
literature, either from the store selling the product or on the Internet that
states these products are not to used during pregnancy and lactation. I wish
they did not do this because it does not appear to be based on scientific
data.
