Subject: Re: Financial impact of baby friendly

One of the banes of our existence in my hospital is cases and cases of formula showing up on the postpartum floor THAT WERE NOT ORDERED!  This formula expires, takes up tons of room, etc.  I truly believe that reps get some kind of bonus based on how much formula they've placed in hospitals.  It's easy to game the system as formula is delivered straight to the floor on pallets.  Ugh."~~~~~~~
Can someone take it to a food bank?  And then you can tell the reps that you took the unordered formula to the food bank, so maybe they'll stop leaving it.  Or throw out the extra.  And tell them that.
