Diane has asked about the presence of storage containers on the?Evenflo website. This complies with the Code.?I have checked this carefully and storage containers are OK to show on the website--they are not marketed as feeding bottles nor do they appear with artificial nipples.

So much of the Code remains vague on issues such as is a website a store? Right now, websites that?show?items covered by the Code are being picked up as Code violations because they market directly to the consumer and are used as a means to reach mothers. This is especially true when offending websites encourage mothers to contact them. Once a website has consumer information, the consumer is often contacted by the website with promotional materials.
