I recommend reading "Impact of Birthing Practices on Breastfeeding", Linda Smith, second edition, Jones and Bartlett 2010.


Gives very clear insights as to the potential problems caused by cranial and other nerves pinched during the overlap of cranial bones during birth, etc.


Linda has an extremely strong track record of respect for research-based info. I don't think anything in her book would lead you astray. Besides, the whole book is fascinating reading, packed with valuable info of all kinds.
