Jeanette,
I don't have any hard evidence for this. But I think I would ask mom
to continue (as long as no worrisome side effects) for 2 weeks once
everything looked to be going very well. Then I would gradually wean
the dose over the next week or so, making sure the supply and the baby
were doing well.
