Some resources on PPD:
Post Partum Depression and Anxiety: A self-help guide for mothers, Pacific
Post Partum Support Society, 1987. ISBN 0-9692983-0-7. This is a Canadian
publication that is an excellent for mothers and those working with mothers
with PPD. In discussion on drugs (after a lot of other stuff has been looked
at first), they suggest discussing with doctor. There is a list of questions
to ask dr., including, "Can I bf while on this drug?"
Postpartum Depression: A comprehensive approach for nurses by Kathleen A.
Kendall-Tackett with Glenda Kaufman Kantor (Sage Series in Clinical Nursing
Research), 1993. ISBN 0-8039-5035-7. This book has some good stuff. It buys
the line that all meds mean bf is contraindicated, however.
I got both through the ICEA bookstore, I believe.
