someone mentioned the cigarrette ads we have here in the US run by 'The
Truth'. i'm incredibly ignorant about the world of advertising and the politics
behind ads like this. my eyes have really just been opened with this whole bfing
ad campaign travesty.
so how do we get ads like The Truth ones to be made about bfing? how did they
come to be made about cigarettes? what groups/individuals made that happen?
and did they do it b/c they were incredibly disgruntled about the
ineffectiveness of the cig industry sponsored ones? i asked this once before and bever got
a reponse and i let it drop. but since this whole campaign thing has happened,
i'll ask again.
why couldn't groups like lactnet mobilize, fund and come up with our own
commercial(s)? is it a really unrealistic idea?
