Hi All , a mother is concerned as she feels something is not quite right, her pediatrician says everything is ok as does her Ob.However she remains uneasy, firstly she had gestational diabetes and her sugars have remained high, baby is 4 days old.her baby has very sweet breath, shows no signs of hypoglycemia etc, somewhere I have heard about what this means but can not pull it out of the recesses of my brain at the moment,Also when mother nurses-her milk is really and truly in and her breasts are huge she says, when she nurses and has a let down she feels pain in her throat and in her back,I could understand the back with large breasts and leaning over etc,but unsure how throat is connected,Physician said she could understand the throat because of the connection with the lymph nodes but not with the back.Any sages out there with thoughts would be most welcomed.
