Jean it is funny that you have been thinking about this today! I too went
to mass and it got me thinking, only for some odd reason our priest chose
some readings from the life of Christ, instead of the traditional reading
from Samuel. Citing that when Christ went to the temple as his parents were
leaving town (without them knowing he was going to the temple) it was after
his weaning age. It just struck me funny too that He must have been 10 or
so.

While I know this list isn't in any way a religious list, we many times end
up counseling very religious families, I have found it easier to relate
stories from the Bible when it comes to weaning. I have a good selection of
Biblical quotes regarding mother's milk and weaning. Most mothers are
impressed that I would go to the lengths to know this information. It all
goes back to relating to our clients, it makes them more comfortable.

Melisa (who is VERY jealous that Kate had her baby! I am sitting here
wishing stronger contractions for myself!)
