This is an excerpt from a lactnet dialogue last week. (I'm behind
again.) Pretty simple stuff. I'm probably not alone in offering this
kind of feedback privately to lactnetters much more often than I do it
on the list. I guess I figure if it's basic everyone already knows
it, and if it isn't basic I could be wrong and shouldn't be cluttering
up the digests. Let the bigger names answer it publicly.

But I'm re-thinking. Isn't this the heart of lactnet? I realized, as
I read it and followed the anxious history given by the reporting LC,
and the blow-by-blow attention of the responding LC, how very much I
was enjoying it *and learning from it* - having the basics gone over
for the 1100th time is a solid reminder of their importance.

So here's my vote for more of this kind of thorough, blow-by-blow
responding. Not just the case history - we already have those - but
*our responses to them*, paragraph by paragraph. Thanks for this one,
Heather.
