There are over 400 members of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine.
There are probably a few hundred more that are IBCLC (many out of the USA)
I believe that every pediatrician wants to do right by his or her patient - 
many simply just don't know that the information they have is old, 
inappropriate and probably taught to them by formula salemen.
