I had a request from a physician today asking advice in the treatment of
galactorrhea in mothers who have not breastfed in years. She states she has
seen this in many mothers, had their prolactin levels checked and they were
normal. She would like to stay away from prescribing Bromocriptine. Would
like to hear what advice you have for these women or what physicians have
prescribed? Mary Ann Krainz
