Hello again..first thanks to all who e mailed re the nipple shield..many
helpful hints.  Now a new problem.  The other LC at our hospital is
following a patinet whoses baby is 4 months old and not gaining well.  When
she pumps there is very little "Fat" on the top after it separates.  Joyce
has checked every angle she can think of..this baby has been seen by a
paed, latch is great..sucking, swallowing..if she pumps she gets lots of
milk.  I found some info on fat intake and  essential fatty
acids..consuming natural fats, watching labels etc. Any other  hints and
does any one know much about blessed thistle increasing fat content in milk..?
