Do you have any references for this? Since my son's diagnosis, I've read a 
lot on amblyopia and haven't come across any information on infant-feeding 
method having any bearing on it.

I suspect it'd be a tough thing to study. Amblyopia's not extremely 
rare---something on the order of 2-3% of the population---but there are 
several causes. And, given that bottle-feeding predominates, the majority 
of this 2-3% would have been bottlefed. My head aches thinking of the stats 
necessary to detangle causation from correlation, but I soldier on because 
I am insatiably curious. :-)
