6) CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR ZERO TO THREE NATIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE
ZERO TO THREE invites proposals for presentations to the 24th National
Training Institute (NTI), scheduled for December 4-6, 2009 in Dallas,
TX.  The deadline for proposals is February 27th.  These presentations
may be field, case or poster presentations and should focus on lessons
learned, best practices, and innovations from practice, research, or
public policy in the infant-family field.  The NTI convenes
multidisciplinary infant-family practitioners, educators, trainers,
program administrators and supervisors, researchers and policymakers
from around the nation and internationally to focus on effective
responses to significant problems/issues in infant-family research,
practice, training and policy.  Submissions are encouraged that offer
a variety of perspectives on critical and timely issues; explore
current clinical and applied research; identify creative strategies
for promoting best practices in infant-family services; and examine
public policies that affect very youn
