Adverse effects in patients receiving multiple doses:

nausea 3.7%
headache 1.9%
skin rash 1.8%
vomiting 1.7%
diarrhea 1.5%
Adverse events more common in HIV infected people (21%) than not (13%)

elevated liver enzymes were noted in patients who had other medical issues

hepatic failure has been  recorded in people with AIDS or underlying
malignancy who were n multiple other medications

an over dose of 8200mg [nl dose 150-200mg] produced hallucinations
(resolved 48 hrs)
