I am a hospital-based and private practice IBCLC here in Hartford, CT. While I don’t rent baby scales, I do use one in my practice for private consults. I certainly could be available for a consult for mom if she needs, and offer my scale for weights, although not for her to keep Patrice Jones, IBCLC in Southington CT may rent scales, she can be found online. Another option is our free support group @ Saint Francis hospital. It is every Monday, from 1:30 to 3pm, and we bring a scale for moms to weigh their babies. And it is free with free parking, in Hartford. Unfortunately, it just finished an hour ago for the week.

My contact info is [log in to unmask], facebook @ Oh, Baby lactation care, or phone @ 860-212-5440. Connecticut is fairly small and driveable from many areas. Please have her reach out for more local help; if we can offer it!

Lori Atkins, RN, IBCLC
