I am looking for recent research to 'prove' the necessity (advantage?) of
eliminating mother babe separation in the first hours postpartum. We have
the latest Marsha Walker's book, and the 'Research to support the ten
steps'  Neither do the trick. Does anyone know of anything definitive,
published in a medical journal?  This is intended to be posted on the ward
to convince the opinionated nurses at 3am when there are no LCs present.
