To the Editor, Wall Street Journal

Barbara Carton's article on the Ezzos philosophy was timely and welcome.
The power-and-control issues taught by the Ezzos philosophy are out of
control and sickeningly harmful to babies, families and our society. The
truth is that babies are not convenient. Trying to make them so only
induces trauma and long-term harm. Most of us have children for reasons
other than "convenience." Babies are the world's next generation, and it's
worth our time and best efforts to treat them compassionately if we want
compassion and peace to be the "name of the game" in years to come.
