Jane,

How do you tell if mastitis is likely infectious and it's time for antibiotics or if it is obstructive?  Also, obstructive can become infectious.  If a mom has no other signs of infection and trying different things is not clearing the plugs, are antibiotics the next step?  I know this is a decision for the HCP but there must be some guideline of what works the best.
