Nikki and Eileen: AMEN! Don't knock it unless you've tried it. I have heard
from many sources, parents and HCPs from other countries, that breast pumps
are almost exclusively a US phenomenon. I hand expressed by choice, for all 3
of my babies when I returned to work full-time. I did try out all the pumps in
my office (manual pumps all the way up to the hospital-grade electric) when I
returned to work after the birth of baby #2 and NONE were as efficient as the
good ol' free, no-tech hands!
