The old adage, "If you haven't used one, don't knock it" applies here. All
the pillows on your bed will not help if moms breast and babys mouth do not
line up.

In the US, and probably Europe and Asia, government requires protecting
infant car seats. Women are taking their children everywhere in them. My
daughter does not, but she does bring her baby in and out of the house and
place of work in the bucket as it is easier to adjust the safety straps
properly when placed up higher on the kitchen table. I have now met two
more moms at the local supermarket also wearing wrist support due to these
buckets. These bucket child seats are injuring the moms wrists. See this
newsletter

This is why the Nurse E-Z was to use the expression, a Godsend. I found the
original pillow at Goodwill-a resale store. It has saved our daughters
wrist from getting worse, though she is still getting treatment. We now
carry the pillows at our store.

Once my daughter started using the pillow and she is a 42DD and could not
hold up both her breast and the baby, she has now given them as gifts to two
well endowed first time moms who are our friends and both are breastfeeding
successfully. Their babies did not even latch at the hospital. It straps
onto moms waist while still large after delivery and accommodates as she
loses weight. It simply brings baby up to moms breast level. The core is
5" foam and there is much less chance of suffocation. Baby cannot fall into
a gap or hole between pillow and mom, even if mom falls asleep while
nursing.

So until someone with an injured wrist that cannot lift baby to their
over-endowed breast tries it, please do not knock it. It, like every other
aide, has its place.
