While not exactly a direct comeback to the doc's A+ and A comparison, I like the following.  (I take no credit for it.  I heard it I believe at a conference and wish I could give credit to the originator.  Whoever you are, thanks as I have found it very useful.  Please identify yourself if you are on LN.)
To say that such-and-such formula is "closer to breastmilk" is like saying "Minneapolis is closer to Australia than St. Paul" (or any side by side cities in relation to another on the other side of the globe).  In Wisconsin, we say Waukesha closer than Milwaukee.  Out  East, you could say Arlington closer than DC.  You get the point.
