While six weeks is a great start, I would hope that both Sarah & Michelle would have breastfed long enough to feel some of the societal issues that impact a mother's success.

And perhaps they have!  The world is changing. I'm beginning to encounter young mothers whose own mothers breastfed them until they were a year or more. ~~~~~~~~~ Thanks again to the founders of LLL!

When I heard that Sarah Palin had a young baby, I did a search to see if she 
was breastfeeding, and indeed she was (?is now?).  Apparently so did Michelle 
Obama.  Perhaps one of these women will be in the position to impact this 
subject that we are all so passionate about!
