I wonder if this mom received mis-information. Domperidone is not supposed
to penetrate the blood brain barrier and so should not have psychotic
effects. Metoclopramide is the one with the reputation!  Could this just be
a case of coincidental depression?

Hale on Domperidone:  "Peripheral dopamine antoganist..... blocks peripheral
dopamine receptors in the GI wall and in the chemoreceptor trigger zone
(nausea center) in the brain stem...... Unlike Reglan, it does not enter the
brain compartment and it has few CNS effects such as depression."  No
mention of depression under "adult concerns".
