Has anyone out there worked with many adoptive nursing moms? I have a mom
who has come to me because she is planning to adopt and is determined to
breastfeed the baby. They are awaiting a birth mother to choose them and she
wants all the info she can get her hands on. I have worked with only 2 moms
and neither were "successful." one stopped pumping as soon as baby was born
because it was too much work(she did produce sm amt of milk.) the other mom
never made any milk during only two weeks of pumping, and then the birth
mother backed out after the baby was born. I would like to hear of some
success stories so I can share them with this mom. Any resources or
suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This mom has been pregnant 3
times, is 26y/o, 2 miscarriages and one baby died after being born at about
28 weeks, after which her milk did come in and I helped her through that.
 Thanks so much .
