I totally understand that.  I actually suggested at one point that our local breastfeeding coalition might consider buying some copies of Hale's book and distributing them to various doctors in our area, but that was met with opposition from many of the long-time members.  Their attitude must have been contagious... now, here I am saying, "The docs can afford to buy their own copies!"  ;-)
