My favorite is: "If formula were so harmful, the FDA wouldn't allow the
companies to sell it."

Or the student just yesterday who claimed (in response to a discussion of
the hazards of cows' milk for older children and adults) that the dairy
industry in the US doesn't try to get people to consume more dairy products.
I was tempted to say snidely "Got brains?" (but I refrained).

We just have to keep on keeping on.
