Hi Deanne,
     - I had this when I worked in the maternity ward - for some reason I had to pump this Mom and found this thick thick colostrum.
Its a while back but I remember that we just continued to pump and on the 3rd day the Mom's milk came in.   She did say however that she had not fed her first baby because of this problem and of course she was delighted that she could breastfeed.Just prior to your post I had sent Jean Cotterman an e-mail talking about this Mom.
