Around our state, there have been many instances of  Prolacta sponsored depots soliciting LLL meetings, WIC meetings, and even childbirth educator trainings.

It is actually the local collection depots ( mostly midwives and birth centers), not the actual Prolacta company that are out there to "sell" the concept. Also they are making $2 per ounce of milk collected so perhaps they are motivated to reach a broader audience to gain more donors.
