Yesterday afternoon I wrote:

<I was not aware that there was any connection of hypoplastic breasts with
PCOS.

From what I have read, I have assumed that these two conditions were
entirely unrelated to one another. If not, can someone give me some guidance
on the best references to update myself on what the connection is??>

I just answered my own question by turning to page 432, table 9-3 in Marsha
Walker's wonderful new book "Breastfeeding Management for the Clinician."

Here I was thinking that the main cause of insufficiency of glandular tissue
was primarily anatomical, having sprung from embryologic growth-or
rather lack of it- in the initial stages of secondary bud branching!

Best I get down to reading Marsha's book seriously before taking the test in
July! Hats off to Marsha (and Lisa Marasco and all the others who are
bringing lactation knowledge forward on this subject.)
