Did anyone else hear Dr. Laura speak on breastfeeding on her radio show
yesterday?  A young woman called in to ask about breast reduction
surgery.  She told Dr. Laura she was told if she had a reduction there
was a "small" chance that she could not breastfeed her children.  As she
has no children yet she was not sure if this was a risk she should take.
Dr. Laura was incredible.  She told the young woman that as a mother she
would NEVER want a woman to miss out on the incredible experience of
nursing her baby.  She went on to describe the overwhelming feelings of
love and joy she experienced while watching her son nurse from her
breast.  It was great to hear someone so publicly support breastfeeding.
