Is anyone aware of a link between PXE and the inability to establish an
adequate milk supply? Recently a colleague of mine worked with a first time
mom that denies breast changes during pregnancy. She had colostrum, but
six days postpartum did not experience any increase in milk production. Her
sister is also diagnosed with PXE and delivered a baby 5 weeks ago. She also
was unable to establish a full milk supply. She is still breastfeeding and
pumping, according to her sister, but with volumes of less than 1/2 oz.

Thank you for any information
