To grab your attention {subject line}...

Instead of going to bed tonight at a decent hour I found myself watching random garbage on TV, including the "Fashion Police Red Carpet Review" where a couple of 'style experts' critique the fashion attire of Hollywood movie stars as they were making their way into this weekend's Oscar Awards.

The 'style experts' were busy criticizing Jessica Alba, who is pregnant, and was wearing a lovely purple gown. Because her breasts are larger now than when the gown was designed for her, she had her stylist stay up all night sewing purple feathers to the bust line to cover her extra cleavage.

You're probably wondering where this is going...but stay with me.

Well the one male 'style expert' said that he didn't like the gown because "It looks like her eyebrows fell off her face and were breastfeeding!" Which received a laugh from everybody, including myself - despite the sleeping baby in my lap.

This may seem like an offensive comment, but if he's making a joke about breastfeeding to which everyone else is laughing, then this means one simple thing; breastfeeding is becoming a cultural norm. So ladies, take a well deserved bow and pat yourselves on the back... because you must be doing something right!!!

Happy Friday,
