With regard to the anti co-sleeping campaigns, Fox News TV in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin did a very powerful news story on this issue on
May 14, 2010. (Somehow I think I heard about this on Lactnet at the
time).

You can view the segment at http://www.blogher.com/fox-news-says-
infant-cosleeping-deaths-linked-formula-feeding

It is about 9 minutes long. It tells about the Milwaukee Health
Department's response to a rash of infant deaths this year. It is
important to watch all the way through to the end to get the whole
message, including James McKenna's take on this campaign.

In terms of inducing guilt, I think the Milwaukee anti co-sleeping
campaign tops them all, featuring an adult bed with a tombstone as
the headboard. It says: "For too many babies last year, this was
their final resting place."

The news story presents spokespersons from many sides of the issue.
James Mckenna makes a strong, clear statement. I think the report
does a great job in covering the complexities. And their is a quiz
to see if you can guess which of 4 risk factors was present in every
single one of the infant deaths.
