Several people mention lay support. We do have a LLL group here. I
actually take one day off a month to attend with my baby - gives me a chance
to make friends with other moms and talk about my baby without feeling like
a weirdo! We are a very small group, though. I give all new breastfeeding
moms meeting info, but the grand majority look at me like I've grown 2
heads. They simply can't imagine going to a meeting about breastfeeding!
There aren't any other support groups here. I don't have the time/energy
right now to start one either. Any ideas on how to encourage moms to hook
up with that lay support?
